Stitching Star - Self Help Group (SHG)
Stitching Star is the Self Help Group (SHG) which is working under Pratigya NGO, and works on empowering backward minority women of our community in Matiya Mahal,Delhi.
Under this, we provide stitching services to other entities with the help of our SHG Members of Stitching Star. This SHG belongs to the backward minority of society consisting of Muslim women resident in Matiya Mahal,Delhi area. This group help them to earn a living by providing them work and empowering them through stitching skill.
Firstly Pratigya NGO teach them the skill of stitching and then makes them in a SHG group with name of Stitching Star. Through this group beneficiaries were able to earn upto 3500- 5000 of monthly now. And this group have some work tenders like 7000 thousand cloths bags, this group has beed done order till 5050 cloths bag, 10,000 indian flag and 2500 Mahadev Sena flags with successful delivery on time. Shabhnam and Safiya is lead this group as a leader and Afsha is find the new order or this group. Through this group, beneficiaries are earning money and strong financial support to their families.
